Eric Magale is a development finance researcher, currently a Post-doctoral Fellow at ACTS, under the Climate Resilient Economies Programme. His recent research has focused on the governance of SDGs in the context of constrained financing complex interactions of the 17 SDGs. Eric has also researched topical development finance issues and has published widely in these areas. He has previously worked in finance and risk advisory in Kenya and Ethiopia. Eric completed a PhD in Development Studies at the University of Pretoria and a Master’s in Development Finance at the University of Cape Town and is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA).
