Anne Maina

Anne Maina is a researcher at the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS), contributing to the Climate Resilient Economies (CRE) Programme. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Kenyatta University and is pursuing a Master’s in Environmental Science at the same institution. She is conducting research into Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) systems, exploring their sustainability and potential to improve the livelihoods of women in Kwale and Kilifi counties. Her expertise spans environmental management, data analysis, and climate resilience, with a strong interest in leveraging technology for sustainable and practical solutions. Anne has foundational knowledge in Python, SQL, and Excel, which she applies in her data analysis work.
