Patrick is a registered Engineer with both Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) and also a project/ program management specialist with vast experience, spanning for over 14 years. He is a Research Fellow at the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS) and also support the office of the Executive Director in Resource Mobilization activities for the Centre. Previously, he worked for a number of organizations, serving at different capacities.
He is currently pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He holds a MSc. Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi, Master of Arts Degree in Project Planning & Management from the University of Nairobi, Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from the Kenya Institute of Management and BSc. Degree in Engineering (Agricultural) from Egerton University. In addition he has done a number of professional courses such as Remote Sensing (RS) and GIS, Project Monitoring & Evaluation, Value Chain Development, Community Managed Disaster Risk Reduction and Curriculum & Instructor Guide Development amongst others.
