Mourine Chepkemoi is a research fellow with over 7 years of experience in developing a range of research capacity in the field of science, technology, innovation and economic development by contributing in designing and project implementation suitable and responsive to stakeholders’ needs, and initiated corrective measures to ensure the smooth production, dissemination and use of knowledge for economic development.
Ms Chepkemoi is the current Visiting Fellowship Programme Manager, under the AfricaLics Project and the program strives to support African PhD students working in the field of Innovation and Development in strengthening their academic/research qualifications, improving the quality of their dissertations, and preparing for a career in innovation and development either within academia or outside (e.g., in the private sector or in government/policy making). Ms Chepkemoi has hands-on experience with stakeholder engagement and project management. Chepkemoi also has extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative research, having worked with a wide range of projects and organizations to promote sustainable development.
She holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in International Business at Kenya Methodist University (KEMU) and Bachelor of Business Administration Majoring in Accounting and Finance from the same institution. In addition, she holds a Diploma in Business Management from The Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
