The African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS) is proud to be a key knowledge partner at the inaugural Evidence for Development (Evi4Dev) Conference, taking place from May 6–8, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency, Nairobi, Kenya. Themed “Optimising the Role of Data, Evidence, and Innovations in Africa’s Efforts to Create Wealth, Empower Citizens, and Foster Responsive Governance”, this pivotal biennial gathering brings together Africa’s leading minds to chart a path forward through science, technology, and innovation (STI).

1. Plenary Session: The Status of Innovation in Africa and Progress Towards Agenda 2063
