Ronald Opio is a PhD student and Graduate Fellow at the Department of Geography, Geo-informatics and Climatic Sciences at Makerere University. His research domain is in the application of computational techniques such as numerical modelling, remote sensing and artificial intelligence to better predict important environmental markers, including meteorological variables and atmospheric chemistry species.
