Theme: Accelerating the realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions

Prof. Calestous Juma was an internationally recognized authority in the application of science, technology and innovation (STI) to sustainable development especially in developing countries. His work focused on analyzing how knowledge and innovation could be harnessed for development in the context of institutional change in socio-economic systems. The CJ seminar series aims to keep his dream alive by creating a platform that elicits discussion around science, technology and innovation (STI) for development. To keep the discussion focused, the topics for the seminar series are anchored on Prof. Juma’s previous works.
