The African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS) and core partners the STEPS Centre, the African Technology Policy Studies Network (ATPS), and the Stockholm Environment Institute-Africa (SEI-Africa) will jointly hosts a three-day workshop on Low Carbon Pathways from June 10th -12th , 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nairobi.
The workshop will bring together 100 international delegates drawn from government, industry, universities and civil society to explore and share ideas and approaches on pathways towards developing low carbon economies. It will include high-level discussions on how to encourage low-carbon development and promote pro-poor energy development.
The STEPS Africa Sustainability Hub will be formally launched during the workshop. The Hub will be part of the STEPS Global Consortium, and the first ever in Africa and will focus on pro-poor low carbon economic development. For more information on the Hub, click here
