Brian Halubanza is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Zambia and works as a lecturer in the School of Science, Engineering and Technology at Mulungushi University, Zambia. His research interests centre around Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Geospatial, and cloud computing technologies. His current research looks at the design of a framework for an early warning system for the management of the spread of Locust invasion in Zambia based on Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Copperbelt University and a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Binary University of Management and Entrepreneurship, Malaysia, he remains dedicated to integrating theory and practice, and works under the supervision of Dr. Jackson Phiri, PhD and Professor Phillip O.Y Nkunika.
