Alfred is a communication professional with vast experience in journalism, editing, photography, video production, graphic design and brand management. He is also well versed in monitoring and evaluation, developing communication strategies and publishing.

He has worked in various international organisations including ActionAid International, Measure Africa, World Agroforestry Centre, Measure Africa, African Network For Agriculture, Agroforestry and Natural Resources Education (ANAFE), African Forest Forum (AFF), Standard Media Group, Africa Gender and Development Evaluators Network(AGDEN; and more recently, Education Development Trust, a UK based international organisation focussing on education.

Currently, Alfred is the Communications and Outreach Officer at the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS).

He holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nairobi’s School of Journalism, a Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences from Moi University and a Certificate in Environmental Journalism from Makerere University, Uganda.
