I am currently pursuing PhD. in Food Science and Nutrition; Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology- Kenya. My research topic is ‘Influence of attitudes and market chains on consumption patterns of African Indigenous Vegetables in households in Busia and Nakuru counties in Kenya’. This research is funded by the HORTINLEA Project; Meal cultures sub-project. The project is coordinated by African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS). Through ACTS, I will be able to be guided and facilitated in proposal writing, data collection, analysis and dissemination of findings through regularly organized workshops.

I am also an Assistant Lecturer; Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Department of Nutritional Sciences. I have published one paper in African Journal of Agriculture, Nutrition and Development (AJFAND), and a book with Lambert Academic Publishing.
